Benjamin Krieg

born 1977 in Freiburg (Germany), lives in Berlin and works as filmmaker and photographer.
1999-2005 Free University Berlin, Film and Communication Studies
2005-2008 Studies in Experimental Media Design at the University of the Arts in Berlin, followed by a grant (2009/2010) as part of the emerging artists program by the Senate of Berlin.
His latest works include: 2007 the dance-video-performance "für immer" [for ever] at the Tanztage / Sophiensaele Berlin (choreopgraphy: Kirsten Burger), 2008 the 16mm film installation THROUGH (presented at Contact Photography Festival Toronto 2008 and Forum expanded, Berlinale 2009), 2009 the video-music-installation "61 minutes 27 stations" with Monika Rechsteiner and the Ensemble Contraire.
Since 2006 Benjamin Krieg is part of the group Oper Dynamo West Berlin.
