A characteristic of Deborah Phillips's work with Super 8 and 16mm is a conscious experimentation with colour and the emphasis on fleeting, collage-like, overlapping impressions by means of multiple exposures and fading.

Since 1983 Deborah Phillips has put on "Happenings / cooking performances".

The artist lives and works in Berlin.
