Born 1945 in New York (USA), she grew up in Rio de Janeiro and later studied psychology and cinema at the Sorbonne University in Paris. In 1970 she travelled througout Europe organizing women’ s film festivals and distributing films made by women. 1980 she became a filmmaker herself. She lives in Paris and New York, works as filmmaker and distributor and curates programmes for Jerusalem Film festival.
