TABU / KONTINUUM [an installation in space and time] is an inventory of longterm diary project, which bring the artist's diaries to the public. The installation arranges three, separate works/results in a 'multimedia' ensemble (continuum):
The online project TABU2000.NET offers single diary pages for sale. All previously purchased diary pages can be viewed in detail on a monitor as text and images (including full text search).
The wall object TABU2000/50 encompasses the first 50 purchased diary pages as well as the corresponding texts as facsimiles in a 78-part, large-format composition.
The TABU FILMS present the first 5 diaries in a filmic mode (expanded cinema). The films "TABU I-IV" (1988) and "TABU V (About Which One Cannot Speak)" (1998) will be projected as a loop from DVD.
