At this year’s International Kansk Video Festival in Siberia, which takes place from August 21–29, we are showing a selection of film artistic works recently added to our distribution range which premiered at the 2015 Forum and Forum Expanded at the Berlinale. Angelika Ramlow, who has been invited to join the international jury, will introduce two programs in person to the audiences there. Heldmann (Germany 2014, 83 mins), HAVE YOU EVER KILLED A BEAR? OR BECOMING JAMILA by Marwa Arsanios (Lebanon 2014, 25 mins), WAYWARD FRONDS by Fern Silva (USA 2014, 14 mins), UNTITLED (HUMAN MASK) by Pierre Huyghe (France 2014, 19 mins) and ORCHARD STREET by Ken Jacobs (USA 1955/2015, 27 mins).
