"Shotgun Stories" and "George Washington" at Arsenal

SHOTGUN STORIES

As part of the "CinemaScope - Bigger Than Life" chapter of the Magical History Tour, Arsenal is showing SHOTGUN STORIES by Jeff Nichols and GEORGE WASHINGTON by David Gordon Green in May. Both films were originally presented in the Forum and subsequently received a great deal of attention. "George Washington" was also screened as part of the "Four Decades of the Forum" retrospective in 2009.

Jeff Nichols and David Gordon Green both stem from the same group of young independent filmmakers in Austin, Texas. David Gordon Green was also the producer for "Shotgun Stories".

SHOTGUN STORIES will be shown on May 8 and 14 as part of the Magical History Tour, GEORGE WASHINGTON will be shown on May 17 and 20.
