NORMAL LOVE (Jack Smith 1963-65)

The Era New Horizons International Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland, is commemorating queer legend Jack Smith from July 23 to 28 and we've been invited to take part! We are thrilled to be presenting the Jack Smith films left to us by Plaster Foundation there. An entire bus will be sent to pick up the films, with Mario Montez, Ela Troyano, Uzi Parnes and Marc Siegel, Susanne Sachsse and Stefanie Schulte Strathaus, the curatorial team for the LIVE FILM! JACK SMITH! Five Flaming Days in a Rented World festival (2009 at Arsenal and at HAU), accompanying them on their way. We won't just be presenting Jack Smith's oeuvre at the festival, but also the films we commissioned back in 2009, as well as HOTEL by Heinz Emigholz.
