To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Berlinale Forum 2020 together with Forum Expanded presented films that screened in the founding year 1971. The copies or DCPs of the following films came from the Arsenal's collection and are available for loan upon consultation:

MARE’S TAIL (Great Britain 1969, 16mm, OV) by David Larcher,
MES VOISINS (France 1971, new digital restored DCP OmeU) by Med Hondo,
MONANGAMBEEE (Algeria 1969, DCP, OV with German subtitles / OV with English subtitles or 16mm OV) by Sarah Maldoror,
ON VOUS PARLE DE PARIS: MASPERO, LES MOTS ONT UN SENS (France 1970, new digital restored DCP, OV with English subtitles) by Chris Marker,
W.R. – MISTERIJE ORGANIZMA (Yugoslavia / FRG 1971, 35mm, OV with English subtitles) by Dušan Makavejev as well as
THE WOMAN’S FILM (USA 1970, new 16mm copy OV) by the Newsreel Group (Judy Smith, Louise Alaimo, Ellen Sorrin).

After the festival, the program at Kino Arsenal continued with the following films from our collection, among others:

Click-in German subtitles have been created for all OV films.
