Montagmorgen. Ein Mann in schwarzem Anzug wacht in einem Hotelzimmer auf. Sein Gedächtnis funktioniert nicht, er hat keine Ahnung, was mit ihm geschehen ist, obwohl er ernsthaft versucht, sich zu erinnern. Dann fällt ihm ein Päckchen Salz aus der Tasche, ‘Reinigungssalz’, wie es nach Totenwachen und Beerdigungen verwendet wird, um böse Geister zu bannen. Plötzlich erinnert er sich an einige Fragmente: Begräbnis... Café... Bar... Yakuza. Träumt er, oder… ? Sabu: “Seit vier Jahren bin ich Filmregisseur. Ich bin immer noch ein Anfänger. Deshalb kommt es mir selbst merkwürdig vor, wenn ich sage, daß dieser Film sich aus den Erinnerungen an den Anfang meiner Karriere speist. Ich wollte einfach nur machen, was ich auch wirklich und wahrhaftig machen wollte. Und zwar eine Komödie, einen Actionfilm, eine dramatische, traurige, fantastische Geschichte mit Horror-Touch, einen reinen Tanzfilm mit Tanz, Tanz, Tanz. Ich wollte all diese Elemente mit einem zynischen Gelächter erfüllen, und das Ergebnis sollte dann noch unter hundert Minuten bleiben. Ich habe es versucht. Und, yeah, ich habe es geschafft.“	One Monday morning, a man in a black suit wakes up in a hotel room. He cannot remember how he got there, no matter how hard he tries. Then a packet of salt falls out of his pocket. The label says ‘Purification Salt’ – the salt you use after wakes and funerals to get rid of evil spirits. Suddenly, fragments of memories come back to him. Funeral... cafe... bar... yakuza ... what? Are they all part of his dream, or...? Sabu: “It‘s been four years since I became a film director. I am still a newcomer as a director so it may sound strange to say, but I worked on this film remembering how I was at the very beginning of my career. I just decided to do what I truly wanted to do. What I wanted to do was a comedy, an action film, a dramatic, painful and fantastic story with a touch of horror, and a hard-line dancing movie with dance, dance and dance. I wanted to have all those elements, and wanted it to be full of cynical laughter and still wanted it to be shorter than a hundred minutes. I tried. And, yeah, I did it. I‘d like to thank all of the cast and staff members who really enjoyed and coped with the original intentions of this beginner.“
