Dae-ho ist ein schüchterner Bankangestellter, der in seinem Job nicht gerade glänzt. Eines Tages landet Dae-ho zufällig bei einem Catch-Training – und beginnt daraufhin, regelmäßig die Sporthalle aufzusuchen. No matter how hard he tries, he always seems to land in trouble with his bullying boss, who takes all the credit for everyone else‘s hard work. One day, Dae-ho finds himself in the wrestling ring and soon becomes a regular at the gym. Suddenly he finds his boss can‘t put him in a headlock anymore and the local thugs stop pushing him around. Back at the gym, Dae-ho‘s abilities in the ring attract the eye of the owner‘s tomboy daughter, Min-young. Along with her father she decides to create a new wrestling character: the Foul King. At first the bank clerk isn‘t convinced. Eventually he agrees to give it a go and finds that, in the ring, he really is the Foul King. Dae-ho creates ways of cheating that no one had ever thought of as he humiliates his opponents. „This is the story of a man whose life is going nowhere, a loser who becomes a king when he steps into the wrestling ring.
