Nowhere Special

NOWHERE SPECIAL is set in a town in Northern Ireland. John, a window cleaner, is the single father of the four-year-old Michael, whose mother left shortly after he was born. Their lives are determined by daily necessities and rituals, marked by a deep love between father and son. What Michael doesn't know is that John has cancer and only has a few months left to live. John wants to use this time to find a new family for Michael, a perfect family. But how can he explain to his son why they are visiting so many strange people? Does he know his son well enough to know what he needs? Gradually, John begins to realize that he doesn't have to make a decision for the future, but one for the present. Together with Michael.
