Complementing the 52nd Berlinale Forum’s main program, the Forum Special offers audiences the opportunity to immerse themselves in film history. The latest installment of the “Fiktionsbescheinigung” series presents six film programs from four decades which explore the connection between culture in general, cinema in particular, society and racism. Two historical films – which could not be more topical today – are now available in newly restored versions. And finally, one film is dedicated to the history of the Forum and its founders themselves.
