Cinema without Cinema

The new year begins full of joyful anticipation for the opening of the new Arsenal cinema in April. But in order to get the year going in January already, we will be exploring the auditory contexts of film, placing a focus on soundtracks, audio descriptions and recordings of discussions, including Q&As on experimental film and statements read out in the cinema that originally formed part of events held at the Forum and at Arsenal. Both will be brought into the here and now via discussions with the guests and the audience. One other premiere to this end is the presentation of the audio description of Angelika Levi’s MEIN LEBEN TEIL 2. We invite you all to join us in letting images be created in the mind!
