Miriam Akkermann (live electronics), Eunice Martins (piano, vocals), and Laura Mello (piano, vocals, live electronic) play a composition created live that enters into direct interaction with selected short film. Inspired by parameters such as movement, color quality, and the light intensity of the images, correspondences are thus created between live composition and experimental films, which also extend beyond the length of the film in temporally independent fashion. The sounds created live are distributed across the six channels of the cinema's sound system to add a spatial element. A fundamental element of the entire composition and the focus of the project are developing the tonality of the film image and cinema space. The program includes films by Peter Hutton, MM Serra, Patrice Kirchhofer, Hans Richter, Doris Schmid and Heiko Arendt. (em) (25.5.)

Three films from this year's Forum programme have received awards at DOK.fest Munich: MAKHDOUMIN (A MAID FOR EACH) by Maher Abi Samra got the Horizonte award endowed with 3.000 Euros, LES SAUTEURS (THOSE WHO JUMP) by Moritz Siebert, Estephan Wagner and Abu Bakar Sidibé received a Special Mention, and Tatiana Huezo's TEMPESTAD won the Arri Award worth 5.000 Euros for its outstanding camera work.
