The latest feature film by Congolese director Jean Luc Herbulot is a work that moves between action, mystery thriller and Spaghetti Western and thus escapes any attempt to attribute a genre: The "Bangui Hyenas," a notorious trio of mercenaries, are trying to escape Guinea-Bissau, which has been rocked by a coup d'état, with a Mexican drug trafficker. But their plane crashes on the way to the Senegalese capital Dakar. They eventually find themselves in a run-down vacation resort in the middle of the Saloum Delta in Senegal where they come across creepy guests, who seem to know more about the "Bangui Hyenas" than they would like.
