Safety Last!

Harold Lloyd’s most famous comedy: young Harold moves from the countryside to the big city with big ambitions. He hopes to achieve professional success there so he can marry his girlfriend as soon as possible. In his letters, he claims to be a successful businessman—even though he’s actually just a lowly salesman who has to deal with annoying customers and a difficult boss. When his girlfriend announces she’s coming to visit, he has to take action and devises a spectacular advertising strategy for his department store: climbing a skyscraper! Through a series of unfortunate events, he suddenly finds himself in the role of the facade climber and, in a breathtakingly suspenseful scene, scales twelve stories full of obstacles.
