She will present AND SHE DIDN’T DIE, which centers on the extraordinary life of her mother, Lauretta Ngcobo: a storyteller from rural South Africa who became a revolutionary, an exile and a celebrated feminist thinker and writer. Through archival footage, reenactments and readings from Lauretta Ngcobo's works, the film explores the personal cost of activism and the power of storytelling.
