Paraguayan filmmaker, producer and festival founder Juanjo Pereira (b. 1994) has selected two films that, almost archeologically, unearth certain aspects of Paraguayan history: his latest essay film, BAJO LAS BANDERAS, EL SOL, assembled exclusively from archival footage, and the Brazilian historical film NOITES PARAGUAYAS, which is unknown in Germany.
