OSTWIND (Katja von Garnier, D 2013, 22.2.) is about a mutual taming: When 14-year-old Mika fails to pass into the next school year, the summer camp vacation she had been looking forward to is cancelled. Instead, she is sent to her strict grandmother's stud farm to be under observation while she studies. However, it's not as terrible as she thought it would be at the horse ranch. A wild and shy stallion called Ostwind awakens her curiosity. Until then nobody was able to tame the beast - an unusual friendship develops. Free entry for children who have the film director's id from the exhibition. A Deutsche Kinemathek event.
