Once again, several Forum guests are also involved in the Talent Campus programme: Laura Poitras, Anat Zuria, Madhusree Dutta, Caroline Kamya, Claire Denis, Yamada Yoji and Abe Tsutomu will be taking part in various panel discussions. Islandic artist Ásdís Sif Gunarsdóttir can be seen in a performance.
"Dialogues with Catalogues"
A lounge with posters and catalogues from four decades of Forum history is open to visitors on the ground floor of the Filmhaus from today on. In addition to the historical material, five new video installations by Lucien Castaing-Taylor are on show there.
Bill Douglas Trilogy opens 40th Forum
The 40th Forum opens with the Bill Douglas Trilogy tomorrow night at Delphi theatre. In addition to the films, which are part of the Forum anniversary programme, a trailer consisting of historical clips of news coverage on the Forum will be shown.
Hungarian Film Week: Prizes for "Bilbliothèque Pascal"
Bilbliothèque Pascal, which will have its international premier at the Berlinale's Forum section, received four prizes at the Hungarian Film Week: In addition to the "Golden Reel Main Prize" the film obtained the "Student Jury's Main Prize", the "Best Cinematography" prize and the "Gene Moskowitz Foreign Critics’ Prize".
Forum Expanded Show: Openings
The 5th edition of Forum Expanded starts with numerous exhibition openings. On the 10th of February the first group exhibition already opens at the Akademie der Künste. The grand opening of the Hamburger Bahnhof as well as the "Auto-Kino" in the Temporäre Kunsthalle takes place at the 11th. On the 12th both the Filmhaus and many galleries start with their programme.
Forum goes Kiez
For this year's anniversary the Berlinale takes its movies as well as the film crews on a flying red carpet to Berlin's "Kiez" cinemas. The Forum presents Orly and Au revoir Taipei in the cinemas Hackesche Höfe and Capitol Dahlem.
25th Caligari Film Prize
The Caligari Film Prize will be awarded to a film from the Forum program for the 25th time this year. The award ceremony will be held at the Arsenal cinema after a reception at the HomeBase Lounge on February 19th.

DW Academy at the Forum
For the seventh year international tv- and film festival professionals are visiting the Berlinale invited by the Deutsche Welle (DW). This year's twelve participants come from Zambia, China, Tanzania, Burundi, India, South Africa, Thailand, Morocco and the Philippines.
Berlinale Camera for Erika and Ulrich Gregor
Ulrich and Erika Gregor, co-founders of the Forum, have been awarded the Berlinale Camera as part of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. Following a speech in their honour by film historian Naum Klejman the film "Gisihiki" by Nagisa Oshima, which was shown at the first ever official Forum in 1971, was then screened.
