Sono Sion's nearly four hour film Love Exposure has won both this year's Caligari Prize and the FIPRESCI Film Critics' Prize.
Great demand for "Material"
Due to the great interest in Thomas Heise's Material, there will be another chance to see the film in an additional screening on Saturday, 14th February, at 11.00 am. Tickets are on sale now at the Berlinale box office; accredited guests may also attend.

12 hours of Ludwig Schönherr's 107-hour New York working diary can be seen in a mammoth screening at Kino Arsenal on February 14th.

"When it was Blue" with Live Accompaniment
The New York artist Jennifer Reeves will be attending the double 16mm projection of her film When it was Blue, which will be accompanied live by the Icelandic musician Skúli Sverisson, at Delphi on February 13th.
Academy Breaks with Jeffrey Levy-Hinte
Forum guest Jeffrey Levy-Hinte will be meeting German director Pepe Danquart to disucss documentary filmmaking as part of the "Academy Breaks" series organised by the German Film Academy.

Forum expanded Episode 4: Culture Shock
The Canadian First Nations artists Bear Witness, Keesic Douglas, Bonnie Devine and Darryl Nepinak have created four short films in response to West and East German Westerns in order to oppose the stereotypes presented in them by setting up a new visual language.
The Forum at the Talent Campus
Once again, several Forum guests are also involved in the Talent Campus program: Raphaël Nadjari, Reha Erdem, the Filmmakers Against Racism project, Michael Snow and Sharon Lockhart will be taking part in various panel discussions. Simon El Habre, Kit Hung and Funahashi Atsushi will be taking part in an alumni event.
Forum expanded: Performances
Three performances can be seen on February 8th as part of Forum expanded: Barbara Hammer's Available Space and Bent Time at Hamburger Bahnhof and Wilhelm Hein's Materialfilm-Performance with live music from John and Tim Blue at Kino Arsenal.
