The Berlinale Forum revives its Midnight Screenings with nine classic genre films from the fifties and sixties by the Japanese master director Nakagawa Nobuo.
FIPRESCI Awards for "Como pasan las horas" and "Kekexili"
Two more Forum films 2005 have been awarded at international film festivals by critics federation FIPRESCI: Como pasan las horas by Inés de Oliveira Cézar and Kekexili by Lu Chuan.

"Niu Pi" Wins New Cinema Prize in Vancouver
Niu Pi (Oxhide), which had it's world premiere at the 2005 Forum and won several prizes, has been given the Vancouver Film Festival's Dragons & Tigers Award.
Forum Favorite "On the Outs" to Hit US Cinemas
Berlin kicked off a worldwide festival tour for the US independent production On the Outs. And the audience favorite from this year's Forum has also attracted a lot of attention in its home country, where it will be released in January, 2006.

A selection of films presented in the 35th Forum will be shown once again in the Arsenal cinema the week after the Berlinale.
The "Berliner Zeitung" Reader's Jury Award
Shin Sung-il-eui hangbang-bulmyung (Shin Sung-il is Lost) by Shin Jane received the Award of the "Berliner Zeitung" Reader's Jury.
