AFRIKAMERA 2023: Urban Africa, Urban Movies – Future & Utopias
Since 2020, Urban Africa – Urban Movies has put the spotlight on urban Africa and its representation in contemporary African cinema in a four-year program.
AFRICAMERA 2023 presents a selection of cinematic visions (of the future) by African filmmakers imagining futures that transcend Western patterns of imagination. Contemporary highlights that have been premiered and/or awarded at big international festivals will also be screened. (Florian Wachinger)
