Magical History Tour: Quote, unquote
References and reverences, quotations and homages, re-enactments and (self-)allusions form the focus of this summer’s Magical History Tour. The reasons for the cinematic interaction with other films, iconic actors, impressive sound recordings, events and posters are manifold and range from the desire to visualize (film) historical events to nods and winks. To make it easier to follow, the quoted "originals" will be shown in conjunction with the films referring to them. (Milena Gregor)
