Film still from ALI ZAOUA: PRINCE OF THE STREETS: A group of youths and children on the street.

Sat 29.04.

ALI ZAOUA: PRINCE OF THE STREETS unravels the dark worlds of gangsters in the Moroccan coastal city of Casablanca. It tells the story of four 12-year-old homeless kids Ali (Abdelhak Zhayra), Kwita (Mounïm Kbab), Omar (Mustapha Hansali) and Boubker (Hicham Moussoune). The streets are their home and the people that live in them, their family. With nowhere to go, and nowhere to hide, survival is an everyday problem and friendship is their irreplaceable bond. When Ali is killed in a fight between rival gangs, his three friends will have only one goal, to give him the burial he deserves, the burial of a prince.
