In WINDOW (1964), a window in a New York loft serves as the motif for abstract studies of movement. THE DOCTOR’S DREAM (1977) reveals the psychological depths of a short television film—and the dark desires of a well-meaning country doctor. MAKE LIGHT ON FILM (1995), shot in the 1980s from the window of a Berlin S-Bahn train, attests to the artist couple’s connection with the German capital—and also with Arsenal. THE GEORGETOWN LOOP (1995) traces its origins to the 16-mm film "Nervous System" performances Ken and Flo started developing in the 1970s. In THE PUSHCARTS LEAVE ETERNITY STREET (2010) and the feature film RAZZLE DAZZLE (THE LOST WORLD) (2007), historical footage is processed and analyzed using Jacobs’ “Eternalism” technique, with which the artist created three-dimensional images that could be perceived with the naked eye.
