By way of some simple diagrams and a number of fragments from films and documentaries, Parallel Worlds not only demonstrates the existence of parallel worlds, but at the same time proves that it is possible to place oneself therein.

Hereby not so much a physical displacement is meant but rather a mental displacement.

Harald Thys, born 1966 in Wilrijk, Belgium, studied at the Institute for fine arts, Sint-Lukas Brussel, film and video section (1987-1992) and the Jan van Eyck Akademie, Maastricht, Fine Arts Department (1997-99).

Jos de Gruyter, born 1965 in Geel, Belgium. studied at the Rijksakademie, Amsterdam, Fine Arts Department (1995-1997). Both artists live and work in Brussels.
