In their ongoing video-performance project, the Japanese duo ZIGSAW questions and subverts small aspects of everyday life by infusing them with an absurd quality. Their strategy in this collection of short scenes and small performances of daily routines is simple and effective: mis-use and modification of common objects and actions to astounding – and often times hilarious – results.

ZIGSAW are Ryosuke Nishida, born 1987 in Ishikawa, Japan, and Kyohei Yamashita, born 1988 in Shizuoka, Japan. Both raduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2010.
