The installation Masterpieces uses a family therapy method to investigate the social relationships of the people and objects portrayed in six popular works of art. Trivial questions about the iconography of images form the basis of the research. Although the project's ten participants were simply asked about their current mental states, the individuals' reactions were very emotional. A camera team observed these therapeutic image analyses: A glimpse into a world of social staging.
